Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

ABOUT NATURE THRIVE

Are the ingredients all-natural?

Yes, all of our ingredients are all natural.

Are the ingredients organic?

All ingredients are organically derived. Raw materials are from certified organic and sustainable sources. Our products are not "certified" organic. We are Proposition 25 b exempt or exempt from registering with the EPA. To qualify, your ingredients must be naturally derived and on a shortlist of ingredients as well as of the highest level of safety to humans, animals, and the environment.

Is it safe to ingest or consume?

All of our ingredients are food quality and are derived from raw materials that humans do consume. However, we extract specific compounds of each of these plants to create our natural products and combine them in such a way that they should not be consumed.

What's the best time to use this product?

We always recommend applying the Plant Disease Control and Insect Control when the plant is not under water stress or hot. Morning time outdoors is always best after the initial moisture has dried. For indoor plants anytime is fine unless the plant is in full sun and hot. The weed control is best used when the weeds are not wet; it is sunny out and in a location where it can be saturated.

Are there any temperature restrictions?

We always recommend applying the Plant Disease Control and Insect Control when the plant is not under water stress or hot. Morning time outdoors is always best after the initial moisture has dried. For indoor plants anytime is fine unless the plant is in full sun and hot. The weed control is best used when the weeds are not wet; it is sunny out and in a location where it can be saturated.

Can I use this indoors?

Yes, all products can be used indoors.

Can I use this on my pets?

We are not labeled for this at this time, but our goal is to add a pet product line within 12 months.

Does this kill or simply prevent bugs?

The Insect product does more killing than preventing. The Insect Control affects the pheromone trails, and there is residual on the leaf or surface but should be used more as a contact.

Is it safe to use on fabrics?

We recommend spot testing on a swatch of fabric before applying. We have not seen staining on carpet, floors, walls, concrete or wood but we have not tested it extensively on fabric besides curtain fabric. The Weed Control will stain fabrics.

How does Nature Thrive kill some bugs and not others?

Nature Thrive Insect Control kills most soft-bodied insects. It will not kill most spiders, cockroaches, or other hard-bodied insects because of this heavy outer shell cannot be penetrated. We will be coming out with a spider and cockroach product soon. It does not have residual that affects the insects, which is safe for the beneficial insects like bees. If a beneficial insect is sprayed with the product, it will most likely negatively affect it, but if a bee lands on a plant or flower that has been previously sprayed, it will not be harmed.

 What is Guar?

Guar gum is extracted out of the Guar bean and is used in many natural and organic products to help keep them in suspension or help mix the ingredients evenly when the product is shaken up.

Why do I need to wear chemical-grade gloves?

For all chemicals whether, natural, "organic" or synthetic must be labeled this way. There are federal and state laws that require these safety statements if the label claims to be a pest control product.

What if my pet or family digest it?

We recommend that you call a vet or doctor if any symptoms arise. Proposition 25 b exempt products have specific ingredients which minimize these issues.

Can I use it in combination with other products?

Yes, all products can be mixed with other natural and organic products, but we do recommend to spot test.

NATURAL PLANT DISEASE

The plant disease control is both a contact kill and a preventative. It depletes the disease's food source on the leaf's surface, so the disease will not re-infect the leaf. Spraying every 3-5 days if infected and then every 7-10 days for prevention the disease.
